Rising Year 7s

We are over subscribed for our September 2024 Year 7 starters.

If you are disappointed to have not been offered a place at St Birinus, we recommend that you request to be added to the Continued Interest (waiting) List through Oxfordshire County Council.  Please note that placement on the list is not automatic and you must complete a request via the online Parent Portal.  Further details can be found with your offer letter.

Unfortunately we do not hold information regarding the Continued Interest List, as this is held by Oxfordshire County Council, meaning staff at St Birinus are unable to answer any queries you may have.

Further details can be found by visiting https://www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/residents/schools/apply-school-place/school-admission-rules-and-policies/continued-interest-lists

Information for Year 6 Transition (Sept 2024 Starters)

We understand that starting secondary school is a very exciting time, but also one that can be a bit worrying for students, as well as their parents. At St Birinus School, we aim to make the transition process as smooth and enjoyable as possible, by working closely with the students, their parents or carers, and the primary schools. This helps all those involved to feel excited and confident about joining the SBS community.
