Applications & Transition
Welcome to our Year Rising 7 families! You will find lots of information about starting at St Birinus here:
Y5/6 School Tours
School Tours give you the opportunity to tour the school with members of our Senior Leadership Team and student guides and see what the school is like on a normal working day where you can visit lessons and ask questions.
However, this year, we invite parents and carers to book a conversation with the Headteacher to find out more. To book a conversation with the Headteacher to discuss admissions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Primary School Zoom Meetings for Year 6 Families
Please join us for one of our zoom meetings with senior staff. We have set up specific meetings for each of the local primary schools and also meetings for schools from further afield so that the events are of a manageable size to enable everyone to participate. Please email email@example.com for further details.

Y6 Primary Visits
Throughout September, we visit the Year 6 boys who attend primary schools within the Didcot Area Partnership. A senior member of staff, and current SBS students, deliver a presentation to the pupils and their parents, giving them information about our school and an idea of what life at St Birinus School is like.
For any families with boys attending primary schools outside the Didcot Area Partnership, we will be holding a presentation evening in September, details will follow.
