Bus arrangements for early finish on Friday 31st March
Please see below regarding the arrangements for buses this Friday when we finish at 12:30pm.
Thames Travel Buses
As with previous early finishes pupils will need to travel home on a mix of an extra BB journey added to the timetable in the middle of the day or on our other normal timetabled services. These arrangements are based on those that operated on 16th December 2022.
Due to the early finish the BB0 (shuttle bus between DGS and SBS) trips at 1250 and 1300 will not operate.
31st March
We will operate an additional trip in the middle of the day departing SBS at 1240 and then DGS at 1245 as follows:
BB1A – this will start at SBS and then operate to the normal BB1A route catering for pupils that normally use this service.
94S - this will start at SBS and then operate to the normal BB1A route as far as Blewbury. Due to a road closure the bus will then operate via East Hagbourne, South Moreton and North Moreton. It will NOT be possible for this bus to serve Aston Upthorpe. The road will re-open at 1600 so pupils for Aston Upthorpe will need to catch the 94S at the normal time, or at 1549 from Orchard Centre.
One of our normal timetabled journeys will be adapted similar to previous early finished.
98 – the 1255 from Didcot Parkway (Duty 106, Bus 98B) will divert to serve Manor Crescent for DGS and then follow normal route to Harwell Campus. From Harwell Campus the bus will specially extend to Chilton before operating dead back to Harwell Campus for the return trip to Didcot.

DC06 (Heyfordian) buses
Additional buses will run around 12.49 to take students home who use these buses.
